Since July 15, 2026 the maximum work week is 42 hours (Ley 2101 de 2021), so the ordinary hour is SMMLV ÷ 210 = COP 8,338. Before that date the week was 44 hours and the hour was COP 7,959. Night, Sunday and overtime hours carry surcharges.

About COP 2,715,573 per month for a company exempt under art. 114-1 E.T.: salary, transport allowance, pension 12%, ARL class I, compensation fund 4%, and the monthly provision for severance, interest, bonus and vacation. Employers that are not exempt also pay health 8.5%, SENA 2% and ICBF 3%.

What is the minimum "salario integral" in 2026?
13 minimum wages: COP 22,761,765 per month (10 SMMLV of salary plus a 30% benefits factor). It already includes prima, cesantías and their interest, so those are not paid separately.
How do I pay a domestic worker in 2026?
Domestic workers have the same rights as any employee: at least the minimum wage (proportional if part-time), transport allowance, prima, cesantías, vacation, and social security. Pick "Domestic service" in the calculator: it adds health 8.5% and never SENA or ICBF.
