When does the night surcharge start in 2026?
From 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., at a 35% surcharge over the ordinary hour. The labor reform (Ley 2466 de 2025) moved the start of the night shift earlier — it used to be 9:00 p.m.
How much is Sunday/holiday work paid in 2026?
The Sunday/holiday surcharge is 80% through June 30, 2026, and rises to 90% from July 1, 2026 (reaching 100% in July 2027, Ley 2466 de 2025).
How is the ordinary hour value calculated?
Monthly salary divided by the current workweek divisor: 220 under the 44-hour week, 210 under 42 hours (from July 15, 2026, Ley 2101 de 2021). Today the divisor is 220.
