Some hosts show the card and some do not. The preferred path is Allow when it appears. If after adding the URL you never see Authenticate, open the connect page, create a token, and give it to the assistant via secure input or the MCP header — never in chat.
After you connect: you vs the AI
You do this (once)

- Ask get_setup_info: authenticated must be true.
The AI does this (you do not touch anything else)
- Talks to you on ITS subscription (ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, or Cursor). Those tokens were already spent there.
- If it needs Colombia Move, it calls a tool: list listings, reply to a message, create an event.
- Colombia Move only receives that tool call. We do not see or bill the full conversation.
- It acts as you. It cannot open someone else’s account.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the Colombia Move MCP?
- It is the bridge between your account and an assistant such as ChatGPT. You approve a screen. The assistant can post, read your messages, or create an event as you. It cannot open other accounts.
- Where do I paste https://colombiamove.com/mcp?
- In ChatGPT: tap your photo → Settings → Apps → Create. Paste it in the box labeled URL, Connector URL, or server address. Do not open it in Google or the browser — it is not a webpage. Then tap Sign in / Authenticate and Allow on Colombia Move.
- Do I have to copy a token?
- If Sign in or Authenticate appears, no: tap that button and Allow. If after adding https://colombiamove.com/mcp you never see that card, open the connect page, create a token, and give it to the assistant via secure input or the MCP Authorization header — never in chat.
- Can I paste https://colombiamove.com/ai/mcp into Cursor or Grok Bot?
- No. That is the guide, not the connector. The connector is only https://colombiamove.com/mcp.
- Why do Grok or Cursor say 3 tools or needsAuth?
- Grok Bot and Cursor open the connector with initialize. That session asks for Authenticate / Sign in; tap Allow when you see the card. If the card never appears, create a token on the connect page and give it via secure input or the MCP header — never in chat. Then ask get_setup_info: authenticated must be true. Do not search listings on this path without that session.
- Does Colombia Move charge me for ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, or Cursor tokens?
- No. You pay your ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, or Cursor subscription. Colombia Move is not a proxy for those models and does not get that bill. The MCP server only receives a tool call after your AI app has already spent its own tokens. We do not charge per message.
- Can I connect Gemini to Colombia Move?
- The Gemini app (phone or gemini.google.com) does not let you add Colombia Move as an MCP connector with Sign in. Gemini Enterprise on Google Cloud can talk to MCP servers, but that is an admin setup, not the consumer app. For your account, use Grok, ChatGPT, or Claude.
- Can ChatGPT see someone else’s listings?
- No. It can search public cards, like anyone on the site. It cannot open another account’s inbox, profile, or private listings. Colombia Move blocks that.
- Do I have to pay an extra Colombia Move plan?
- No. You use your free Colombia Move account. The only thing you might pay is the AI app you already use (ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, or Cursor).
- What if I got blocked or it will not connect?
- If we block MCP, you get an email with the reason. Appeal on the contact form with the MCP access topic. If Authenticate never appears, open the connect page and create a token for the MCP header.
