6,400 m², that is 0.64 hectares. It is a square of 100 × 100 varas (80 × 80 meters).

Are a fanegada, a plaza and a cuadra the same?

In Colombia, yes: all three name the same 6,400 m² area. Fanegada is common in Cundinamarca and Boyacá; plaza and cuadra in Antioquia, Valle del Cauca and the Coffee Region.
