What are good easy weekend trips from Medellín?

Guatapé (the painted town and El Peñol rock) is the classic ~2-hour day or overnight trip. Jardín and Jericó are charming, slower coffee-region pueblos. Santa Fe de Antioquia is hot, colonial, and close. For nature, the Oriente towns (El Retiro, La Ceja) are quick escapes. Buses leave from the terminals regularly, or hire a driver for the day if you want flexibility.
