How do I get my certificate of migratory movements?
The certificate of migratory movements is the official record of your entries into and exits from Colombia, issued by Migración Colombia. You request it online with the FUT form for the last 10 years or since 2012, and it costs COP 89,000 in 2026. It is issued within 3 business days after payment.

Who needs it
Colombians and foreigners who need to prove their entries and exits, for example for visas, tax residency, naturalization or procedures with public or private entities.
What you need
- Be the person whose movements are certified (or a representative with a special power of attorney to collect it).
- Completed electronic Formulario Único de Trámites (e-FUT).
- 1 PDF of your ID: foreigners use cédula de extranjería, passport or national ID document.
- For movements before 2012: in-person appointment and supporting documents (stamps, tickets, passport copies).
- Payment via PSE, debit or credit card, or bank deposit.
Step by step
- 1Go to the FUT at apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/registro and choose the certificate of migratory movements.
- 2Select the period: 'CMM de 10 años' or 'CMM desde 2012'. For records before 2012, choose 'CMM menor a 2012' and book an appointment.
- 3Attach a legible PDF of your ID document.
- 4Pay with the 'Pagar en Línea' button (PSE or card). If you don't pay right away, a payment link is emailed to you.
- 5Adult Colombians who pass identity validation receive it by email. Foreigners collect the printed certificate at the CFSM they selected.
- 6Verify the certificate's authenticity on Migración Colombia's 'Verifique CMM' page.
Tips and common mistakes
- If you are a foreigner, the certificate is not emailed: you have 60 calendar days to collect it at the CFSM you chose.
- Check the document when you receive it: you only have 10 calendar days to request corrections.
- For tax residency or visas the last-10-years version is usually enough; request pre-2012 history only if required.
- If you will use it abroad, you may need to apostille it at the Cancillería.
