Every agreement is unique. Although our templates include the most common clauses, we know you often need to add specific agreements. In step 5 (Signature) you will find an additional clauses editor: you can write your own agreements and the system integrates and numbers them sequentially in Spanish ('SEVENTH', 'EIGHTH', etc.) within the contract structure. 3. Penalty Clause Alerts (Art. 1601 of the Civil Code)

In Colombia, the penalty clause (the fine for breach) has limits. Article 1601 of the Civil Code allows requesting that the penalty be reduced to the extent it exceeds twice the principal obligation in certain cases.
