Step 1: The Details

Go to colombiamove.com/publicar and select "Sale" as the type. Choose the category that best applies — if it's a cell phone, select Cell Phones. If it's something unusual like a vintage projector, use "Other Electronics".

Write a clear title. "iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB" works much better than "phone for sale". Add an honest description — mention if it has scratches, if the battery is at 85%, if it includes the box. People appreciate transparency and will contact you faster.

Step 2: Price, Photos, and Contact

You can set the price in Colombian pesos, dollars, or even crypto (Bitcoin, USDC, USDT). Upload up to 10 photos — and heads up, good photos sell. Take photos with good lighting, show the product from several angles, and if it has any defects, include them. That builds trust.

For contact, you can add WhatsApp, email, phone, Telegram, or Messenger. But here comes the best part...

The New Messaging System

One of the most common complaints when you post something online is having to give your WhatsApp number to any stranger. Some use it for spam, others for scams, and nobody likes receiving random messages at 11 at night.

That's why we just launched a direct messaging system within the platform. Here's how it works:

• An interested buyer sends you a message directly from your listing
• You receive a notification by email (or WhatsApp if you set it up)
• You respond from the platform — without giving your personal number
• If someone bothers you, you block them with one click
• Messages are automatically deleted after 30 days

It's completely optional — if you prefer to be contacted via WhatsApp directly, you can keep doing that. But if you value your privacy or are simply tired of spam, the internal chat is your best option.

Before publishing, you review everything in a summary. You click "Publish" and that's it — your listing is online immediately. We automatically create an account for you with your email, so you can edit, renew, or delete your listing whenever you want from "My Listings".

Use the internal messaging system so you don't give out your personal number. Always do transactions in public places. If a price seems too good to be true, it probably is. And if someone asks you for a deposit before seeing the product, that's a giant red flag.

❓ Can I post in dollars or crypto?

Yes. When posting you can select COP, USD, Bitcoin, USDC, USDT, or PayPal USD as currency. Useful if you sell to foreigners or in crypto communities.

❓ How long does my listing last?

Listings last 3 weeks. Before it expires, we send you a reminder so you can renew it if it's still available. Renewing is just one click.
