How do I get around — taxis, apps, and public transport?

Ride apps are the easy default: Uber, DiDi, Cabify, and inDrive all operate (DiDi and inDrive are often cheapest). Medellín has a clean, cheap Metro; Bogotá runs the TransMilenio bus system. For street taxis, prefer ones hailed through an app or by phone, and confirm the meter. Apps avoid fare haggling and give you a record of the trip.
