The pensioner M visa requires proving a pension of at least 3 Colombian minimum wages. With the 2026 SMMLV at COP 1.750.905, it is COP 5.252.715 monthly — around USD 1.300 depending on the current exchange rate. It is proven with the certification of your pension (from the government or fund that pays it), apostilled and officially translated into Spanish. The visa is applied for online with the Cancillería (cancilleria.gov.co) and is usually granted for up to 3 years.
