We are hiring a Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) to support a US medical practice. You will help with patient follow-ups, clinical documentation and medication prior authorizations. This is a remote role for someone who already knows how US practices work and can manage clinical tasks carefully and on time. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Prepare and maintain pre-visit and post-visit patient summaries, visit notes, follow-up instructions and care plans in Greenway and Intergy EHR. - Call patients to follow up after visits, answer questions within your assigned scope and reinforce the provider's instructions. - Prepare, submit and track medication prior authorizations through CoverMyMeds and ForUs. Follow up with providers, pharmacies and insurers on denials or requests for more information. - Provide general Medical Assistant support, including administrative tasks and clinical documentation as directed. - Handle communication with patients, providers, pharmacies and insurers through Greenway messaging and email. - Keep accurate, HIPAA-compliant records of patient interactions and authorization requests. - Coordinate clinical matters with the designated practice contact and escalate operational or system access issues. WHAT YOU NEED - Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish. - Previous VMA or Medical Assistant experience supporting US healthcare practices. - Hands-on experience with medication prior authorizations, patient follow-ups and medical documentation. - Strong organisation, attention to detail and professional patient communication. - Reliable internet, a working computer and a quiet, private workspace. PREFERRED - Experience with Greenway, Intergy, CoverMyMeds or ForUs. In your application, please tell us whether you have used each system directly or are only familiar with it.
